Said S4 Active Grey but it looked like a budget model with cheap hardware keys. it looked nothing like the S4 to me.

It's an S4 but with an LCD rather than AMOLED display, reduced camera resolution and optimised sensor/image processing software, and hardware buttons, all designed to allow it to function underwater. It's IP55/58 rated, after all.

Should be able to use a Chinese phone in Spain they'0re GSM, only exceptions would be the CDMA ones used on China Telecom.

You could be right mikedt, but before I bought it from the guy he told me it couldn't be used in Spain as a phone. Now maybe he was wrong, but usually they tell you that it will work when it won't and not the other way around when they want to sell you something, lol. I could always pop my phone card in there just out of curiosity, it's actually duel sim and all, but I really only did buy it for gaming, Vin.

There are dozens if not hundreds of Galaxy Fakes (what i call them) that are basically dressed up budget models with a very light version of TouchWiz Nature UX.

There's many phones that look very similar, but unlikely that Walmart or ATT would be selling blatant knock-offs. You can be sent to jail in the US for selling fakes.
