This is my second Droid Eris phone due to the first one screwing up as well. I got this one after filing a warrany claim. The first day I recieved the second one, it was already causing me problems. I am sooo sick of these phones, they are driving me crazy.
My first phone, the touch screen just stopped working, I couldn't text, it was insane.
Now this one, after about a month and a half (if that long) has started slowing down, and freezing up. When on the home page, it scrolls all the way to the left and I can't get it to go back to the right without pressing the actual home button. I tried doing a factory reset, but now I have lost my 3G signal, I have 4 bars but no 3G or 1x, and I can't send or recieve text messages.
I tried doing an upgrade because I can not handle another one of these phones....but sadly, I couldn't recieve my temporary password from Verizon through text message.....I feel so screwed. I wanted to ask on here before calling customer support and sitting on the phone with them for hours while they try to just give me another one of these filthy devices.
