My phone is over a year old but has ran great until recently. I had to replace the battery about 3 months ago and I replaced it with an OEM battery. The last few days, my phone gets hot, it's slow, the mobile data goes in and out and sometimes when I text it won't register that I'm typing. I absolutely love this phone and getting a new one is not really an option at this point. Any ideas what I can do?

Could be some runaway processes and / or the caches being tangled.
If it was my phone, I'd back up as much as possible, do a factory data reset and then restore from backup.

Grab my CWM kernel and back everything up. From there, go with Earlymon's suggestion.

I have had the same thing happen to me... I'd love to try this:

The only other one I know for a non-rooted phone is MyBackup Pro, that one costs though.
