Hi all,

I'm new to all this ROM stuff, having come from a Motorola Atrix (where they locked down the bootloader)

I've rooted my SGS2 with CF's KE7 kernel, and it comes with ClockWorkMod. I've seen Lite'ning ROM and I want to give it a go, but I see it uses KF2 firmware - will this present a problem? If/when I want to revert to my prior setup, do I just go in to CWM and restore the backup I made?

I've not used any custom roms yet but if you did a nandroid backup it will restore everything to how it was when you backed it up. It would probably be a good idea to wipe your phone before restoring it.

Download titanium backup from market. Batch back up apps n data . Best rom is villian rom in my opinion. Im using it nooow!

Is it Nandroid that is used with ClockWorkMod? Also, do any of you know where the flash counter is?

Yes it will be nandroid if you used clockwork. The flash counter is in odin mode (download mode)

It's strange, I flashed with Lite'ning and checked in dowload mode and it didn't show anything.
