Root So what is the best rom?

I got my Vibrant rooted but have not flashed a rom yet. Seem to be so many but dont know which is the best one. Any suggestions? Was thinking bout Eugene Vibrant4

I am currently running the new Nero v5 Rom by team whiskey, very sleek and fast. Comes with the Voodoo Lag Fix as a default just like V4. I am currently very happy with it. You can get it here: TeamWhiskey - Vibrant Downloads Page

Once you're rooted and flash a ROM for the first time, you'll see how easy it is and how you can pretty much try them all. The biggest pain is reinstalling apps every time. But, from what I can tell (and I'm new at this too), Axura and Nero seem to be the most popular right now. I'm running Team Whiskey's Nero v5 and think it's killer.

Just register at xda also. The forums there can show you more of what you want then just being on this site. I was a huge fan of all the Nero's until v4 and v5 because they never worked properly on phone no matter how many times I reflashed the rom. I didn't really like the Axura roms untill 2.2.6. because it seems that Master(he's dev) has really improved the u.i. in these roms.

I wasn't ever a fan of Macnut but you should be able to find one that suits your needs and likes

I'm also very new to rooting, flashing, etc. I flashed Team Whiskey's Bionix-V 1.2 and have yet to find a flaw with it. It's so fast that when I use my wife's stock Vibrant it makes me want to throw it against a wall.

If any of you are interested I would highly recommend trying out team EDT. Einherjar Development Team. They have alot of different options (loki, trigger, flagship, MIUI!!!!) that are all rock solid. Happy flashing

I'm going to second this. I always liked Heathen's work, but when he established this dev team, things just took off for them. M Flagship is the fasted 2.2 ROM I have run to date.

I am liking the EDT's trigger ROM moreso than the Bionix for some reason. It's pretty fast.
