So who pre-ordered the Incredible today?

So who pre-ordered the HTC Incredible at Best Buy or Verizon wireless online today? I did mine at Best Buy so I dont have to hassle with the rebate.
 
I have been ready to buy a smart phone and am having difficulty determining if I can record video with an on-screen timestamp. Any info would be appreciated.

Verizon's rebate is instant if you order online. Always has been. The mail-in-rebate is only through the stores.
 
I don't think you can pre-order the Droid Incredible at VZN yet (can you?), but I'll do it tomorrow so I can use my NE2.

Aren't you waiting until the 29th regardless? I'd think getting it delivered instead of having to deal with a mail-in rebate would be less of a hassle...
 
Does anyone know how the pre-order /delivery thing works? I called Verizon to ask about what would happen if I pre-order the Incredible. I asked if they would be shipping it out on the 28th so that delivery would be on the 29th. Or, if they would just SHIP them out on the 29th. The customer service person could not even tell me. She said "maybe....not really sure." So, I don't know what to do.

I don't want to have to wait at all -- I want this on the 29th! I like the idea of just pre-ordering at Best Buy if they are actually going to have them ready on the 29th for pickup. But in my perfect world, someone would just deliver it to my door on the 29th.

Anyone have more info on this?
 
i entered best buy about a half hour after they opened sunday. i was somewhat annoyed at first because no one knew anything about it or were even able to start the pre-order process until after about a half hour of searching thru their website before they finally figured out what to do.
anyways, they seem to know the process now.
i later went to verizon about another phone and they seemed psyched about the impending release of the incredible.

It your preorder from verizon they will ship it overnight and have it to you on the 29th. They may ship it early and tell who ever is delivering it not to give it to you until the 29th as well, and let it sit in warehouse

BTW VZW is johnny on the spot about orders. I've ordered dozens of phones this way. I never go in to a store.
 
I pre-ordered at Best Buy today and was in-and-out in 5 mintues. Apparently, I was the third to do so at that particular store. I asked about getting the phone early / if they were gonna sell them early and the answer was no, they are street-dated for the 29th. Oh well, it's gonna be a long wait until the 29th.:D
 
My friend bought his Droid on line, he got it the next day. Not to shabby, I can have my droid Incredible waiting for me when I get home from work. That ride home is going to feel like a journey cross country.

I am still getting this message. I have checked it about 20 times this morning. I am hopeless gadget geek : (
 
I couldn't get it to process the order from midnight thru 2:30 am, but finally got it down this morning at work.
 
I pre-ordered, online, a couple of hours ago. I am getting it delivered over-night, for FREE!

No mail in rebate required as they applied the rebate instantly.

10 days to go and counting down!
