Why must it always be a pissing contest with Android phones? My screen is better then your screen, mine is 1.2 or 1.5 or 1gz of ram, and mine can do this and yours can't!!! iphone users are united and bashes Android as a whole.. An Android kingdom divided...We should stop bashing other people because of the phones they want and just be happy with the phone you have. If I do not have a problem with the pentile screen it is my right if you have a problem with the screen it is your right. Just stop trying to force another who disagree with you to see your way... This is really ridiculous to me.. Apple fan boys would look at this thread and laugh at the immaturity that goes on here. Are we children? Cant we just be happy with our choice of phones and stop bashing someone else choice. The Great thing about Android is we have a choice!!!
 
preach2k has a dream, that one day... i remember hearing that the Bionic would be coming out around the 4th of july after that it would be realeased aug 4th. I was pissed when i found it wasnt coming aug 4th but would be realeased in september. i have had time to heal and am still definitely getting the Bionic heh.
 
I'd really prefer to purchase a Samsung product at this point, but it appears my Droids slow death is going to end up forcing my hand sooner than later. I wasn't pleased to hear that the GSII wasn't coming to Verizon, but if some solid info on the Prime surfaces at or around the Bionic release, I'll try and wait for it.

Otherwise, I may have to get the Bionic.

All of those dates was Speculated dates not given by Motorola or Verizon.

I don't like my decisions being forced upon me by circumstances. My D1 has already died a watery death (my fault entirely) and I have bought a brand new Crackberry on Ebay for 35 bucks so that I can wait things out. It may be sacrilegious to go from a Droid to a 'berry but I can keep up with my email, texts, and podcasts and bide my time. I am definitely going to look at the Bionic, but I really dislike the D3 screen and the one phone that made me have phone envy over my D1 was the Nexus. So, we'll see. I.can.wait. :)
 
I wavered, waffled a few times, especially after hearing about the Droid HD and Revolution 2.

The videos that keep popping up is drawing me back to the Bionic. Only because it almost here and not months away anymore. I'm also ready to get a taste of the LTE goodness. My money is real tight right now, but things are also looking good right now that I should be able to get some phone next month.

Motorola in general is my fav phone manufacture right now so the Bionic would have to be an absolute flop for me not to get it.

And about the poll.....its no surprise it mirrors the Galaxy S 2 or Bionic poll in this section:

Waiting all this time for the Bionic and the U.S. GS2 to launch ...1-2 months is nothing. But I will not be waiting til next year now anymore. next month....should be....it for me...lol
 
I'm not waiting - I have 3 upgrades, so one gets burned on the Bionic, as soon as I figure out ho to pay for it without selling a kidney.
 
I see it too now. I may try to get it - but I want to get my phone directly from VZWCSR like I did with my OG DROID - a lot of people swear I've only had the phone for 3 months....
 
I'm in the same boat, I want either Vigor or Prime. I know Prime isn't confirmed yet, but isn't Vigor supposed to come out only 4 weeks after Bionic? That's confirmed?

If so, I'll take that 1.5 GHz and HD screen any day over Bionic and its quarter HD. It kinda seems like a no-brainer. :)

I'm thinking the phone is pretty much confirmed, but the release date is not. But if the September 8th release date for Bionic holds true then there's a very good chance the Vigor will come out early October (according to the leaked roadmap)
 
My crippled Droid is barely going to make it to September 8th... lol Bionic it is for me

I have been going without a functional power button for about a month now... :S

If the Vigor actually does come out early october and turns out to be a great phone i might feel a little bit of buyers remorse. so i hope it keeps getting delayed and delayed and then i feel happy with my Bionic. Same goes for the Prime :D
 
The phone looks Great!!! But if it has the same battery issues that HTC brings then I will pass.. I am going to get the Bionic but I have another upgrade also. I might us it for the Prime if it comes to Verizon or the Droid HD.. Battery life is major for me and so for HTC stinks in that department... What is the use of haveing a great phone like this and can only use it for 3 - 4 hours then the batteries gone. Does not make sense to me. To those that unlock it and ramp it up to 2.0 ghz then 1 -2 hrs of battery life..

Im adding a family plan to my account and getting the Bionic on one of the new lines. My moms getting my Incredible, the contract on that line is eligible for an upgrade 10/12. So im sure the Bionic will keep me satisfied till then, if not ill just upgrade to a new phone on that line heh.

I'll get the Bionic, then if I really, really want to switch, my grandparents have upgrades. Although they're needing new phones, or at least new batteries.
 
My OG Droid has been struggling for a couple months now and has had a cracked screen since June so I'll be buying the Bionic when it drops. If another amazing phone comes out late and I just can't live without it I guess I'll just sell the Bionic on e-bay and pay full retail. That'll be painful but not much choice it seems..

Oh and hi!.. I've been a lurker here for a very long time. :D

That's nice to have multiple upgrade opportunities, i wish i had that. The only thing that makes me want the Vigor or Prime is the full hd screen. I dont care too much about the faster processor or screen size or what not.

Indeed. From Yoda's pictures, the colors are much improved, but I'll have to see it to believe it.
 
I had an x and it was a great phone. plenty fast for anything I could throw at it. excellent hardware except for wireless n. battery as good as the iphone4. razor sharp screen. the x2 was not much of an upgrade. I rarely found 3g to be too slow. Netflix and YouTube streamed fine. ffc will be nice but otherwise I doubt the, experience will be much different than the x. the Droid 3 is temtping to me because it is a world phone. that's why I got the incredible 2. the i2 has good battery life for HTC average for moto. build quality was still crap though. buzzy earpiece and loose parts in the camera. it would not have lasted. well didn't last a week. too bad.
so bionic it is which will basically be an x still without GSM that I was hoping for.
