Root so...why do i have a sprint vm box now?

i received a couple of voicemails overnight and the notifications for them appeared as texts from "9016" with alot of cryptic looking code.

so i go to my dialer and long-press 1 and i get a vm greeting that is clearly sprint branded...as if i'd never set up my vm box.


i kept my old phone number, kinda wondering whats going on.

just did all that...but now when i receive vm's i get a messed up text msg instead of the proper vm notification. whats the damn deal?

fix:

i installed "redlist" from the market, created a contact "9016" and then blacklisted that contact. now i receive vvm notifications without the obnoxious sms
