Hi, and hello to all.
Forgive me in advance if this thread has been posted, I looked at ones suggested first and didn't see (or maybe didnt recognize the exact problem and fix as this)
Anyway. I rooted my phone, but it said it was not rooted when I use root checker. So I went back and got all the stuff I needed for Odin, but I accidentally unplugged it while it was downloading (stupid I know).
Now, the top shows that I am still in Odin mode. I have the "firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again"
My phone is still being read by Odin, so I am sure that is good. It shows the yellow bar, but when I try to do anything nothing really works.
I went to kies, but my phone is not being recognized, and I tried manually entering the model in the firmware upgrade and installation mode, to no avail.
I have looked online for solutions, but I am rather not good enough to figure it out, and I am sure some people on here will know what to do better than I...
please help, got this phone today as a replacement and I know like this I can not just get a new one under insurance.
I am positive there is a way to handle this, and do not wanna panic, but been trying to research a solution that works for the last few hours and am at a loss for what to do.
