Help Soft Key lights blinked now are off

This morning my soft key lights started blinking and just went off.. When i press them, they work, they just aren't on. I turned phone off/on and get the same thing. Any ideas? I mean they work and i know where they are so it's not that big of a deal, but i would rather have them working then not working.

I am assuming you are not rooted? I would do a battery pull and if that doesn't work you could try a factory reset. If the keys still do not light up you may have a hardware failure. Return the phone if it's still under warranty.

You are correct my phone is no rooted... Hardware failure?? Wouldn't i see other issues other than the soft key lights not working?

Taking the battery out didn't help, but i just noticed, if i load the phone landscape the soft keys do light up.. weird.

Did you pull the battery with the phone on? The next step would be a factory reset. If that doesn't fix it you have a warranty issue. I've run ROMs where the soft key lights don't work. It gets annoying.
