Help Software failure for Arc

Hello

I have a problem regarding my software update on my Arc, I did all steps regarding this PC Companion application for updates, a last step when i tried to turn on my phone, it is constantly showing logos of Sony and Xperia, I wait for a several minutes because it is saying that process of turning on is process which lasts several minutes, but now more than our passed, just that logos are happening...

I would advise re-installing the firmware by using this tool:

Update service - Sony Smartphones (Global UK English)

This sounds like a bad install of software on the handset, I suggest using the Update Service software to re install the phones software to resolve this issue,
