Just installed this version this afternoon after system updates were found.
Not sure why released.

I am on the UK Vodafone variant released back in May.


Anyone found any issues or fixes yet?

I have two so far...

1) I feel as if the phone's animation is now somewhat slower than before.

2) I have had the settings screen come up several times now as only half a page...a quick return and then back in fixed the glitch, but all are a little too coincidental...

Your the first person to say the 2.3.4 update has made the phone WORSE! Personally, I'd hard reset and set the phone up again but you will obviously lose your data if you do that

+1 to this advice. I'd try a simple battery pull first just to see if that cures it to save data, if not do as above
 
Thanks both for the suggestions...tried both and thought all was fine...however my battery life is definitely worse since having it installed I have found since my first post.
Drained the battery to zero in under 4 hours.

Taken all apps off and checked all settings..they are the same as before...only difference is the update...

Not sure what else to try...
I will test-drive over the next week and see where it is then.

I'm not impressed...

Any way of removing an update..or perhaps I should root it?
 
Did the update yesterday. Everything's fine except that when I'm surfing the net it randomly exits the browser and goes to home page, losing everything I've typed! NEVER happened before the update EVER. now its every few minutes.
 
I use Dolphin HD - SO much better than the stock browser (and you can actually exit it too)
