Software Update 6.0.A.3.73

I'd be excited as well, if not for the fact that mine's an O2-branded handset, thus not available for me yet :-(

OMG!! (!)

.75 now available for UK users with generic/SIM-free software.

How long have we had to wait?

Downloading now!

.75 seems to (from what I've read elsewhere) improve the sensitivity of the capacitive buttons, as well as including (obviously) the bug fixes from .73.

I can't believe I'm actually excited about this update, when it's not even ICS! :)

haha, you are not alone jon, I can't beleive how excited we all are at an update!!! I didn't want to come to work when I discovered the update this morning :)

The capacitive buttons are definitely more responsive. Not quite the same need to 'swipe' over them as before.

Not sure how it will improve the battery life yet, as I had it on charge overnight - so no way to see if it remains in sleep mode for longer.

Couldn't tell you Dom, I skipped flashing .75 and went straight for the latest update. Maybe it'll be ICS next, sorta makes sense, but we all know mobile manufacturers don't always follow the logical path.

Just upgraded to .75 from .67 and my battery seems worse than before update, read on here it was supposed to improve????? Anyone else agree, im with vodafone uk

thanks i restarted it a few times and it has improved the battery life, phone been on 24 hrs now and battery still on 60%, strange but true lol, thanks again

Probably the battery monitoring code recalibrating it's algorithms takes a bit of time and some restarts, so it makes sense.

im doing the update on pc companion and its been preparing the comuter for the update for about 2 hours, should i wait or start over???
