Software update available

Newbie
Downloading a software update right now that verizon says will fix the missed calls issue. Also some fixes some sms message issues and it will add Google books. Lets hope it works!
 
After updating, the phone now says I have a blank or unsupported file structure on my SD card, but was working fine before the update.

Verizon will be hearing from me after work...

You know, the same thing happened to my friend's Verizon Samsung Fascinate a few days ago and she never even applied the update. I tried fixing it for her, but alas it was not to be.

She ended up having to purchase a new microSD card, which solved the problem. I am probably going to tell her not to update.

screw that, these phones have known well documented issues, just tell them on top of that you also have been missing a lot of calls....
 
Since updating mine the other night its been all messed up! Screen goes black and just vibrates. took me 15 min to get it to come back on the right way!
 
Wife just got a replacement due to hers having lots of issue, now when you take a pic the phone turns off. If you press the sleep/power button it makes the shutter sound but does not take a pic. Verizon is getting ready to hear from me and its not going to be good. I have had it with this phone!
 
I updated on sunday and ever since that time my wifi was saying it was connected fine but SLOW and getting timeout errors. I looked at my router today and the phone will either have a blank device name and no ip, or "'wep')" tabindex="-1"><b><%1026%></b><" or some other none-sense. AND it seems that the static ip of 192.168.1.2 is being forced(Even though in the settings it is configured to auto) which was causing my issues. As that was the same ip my pc was configured to use staticly on the 5Ghz side of my router.

I updated and no I am no longer rooted and nothing out there for 2.1 or 2.2.1 works????

HELP please! =)

Unfortunately, it is out of my hands. She also just had to replace the charger because it would stop charging half way through.

This update looks like it is a real lemon. She has been avoiding it so far without issue
 
I guess im Foruntate Mines has seam to run better with Each update from 2.2.1 to 2.2.2 But Lancher Pro Does not seam be getting along aswell i have had to swithch to Lancher 7
