When i try the software update option, it always times out, with a connection error... Anyone else tried it with success ?

Just wondering when LG will pull their finger out, and get Gingerbread released...... :(

I agree with you completely, I've seen companies promise and promise updates only to postpone them for ages, samsung especially, let's hope LG don't take that path. I'm looking forward to gingerbread cause that'll allow developers to make gingerbread ROM's for the phone with the drivers LG supply.

Well I have read lots of stories about LG updating the Optimus One to Gingerbread in May... So maybe the 2X will be updated at the same time... :)

My perfect reality would be LG putting the G2X software on the O2X, but that probably won't happen cause it was t-mobile's doing that got pure android onto the G2X, and it performs really well compared to the O2X :)
