Help Software updater messing autorun up

I dont know why but The proper Motorola Software Updater stops any autorun box from coming up, well it looks like a box comes up but is shut down immediatly, when either a cd or usb device gets plugged in. It took me a while to find out that this was the problem. Does anyone else have the same thing happening?

Is this just poor programming by moto or a microsoft fault lol

I think I know what you mean.. I uninstalled the moto software which means it wont be able to load, and not force the phone into that state.. What software version are you running?

Windows 7 with all latest updates and motorola Update thing downloaded from thier site. The latest one cos i decided to test it lol. Still stops autorun for everything. May email Motorola but doubt they'd do much if its fairly isolated.
