Software updates?

Hey

I was curious to know (I'm still new to all this) whether you had to search for software updates or your phone automatically tells you when there is one available? I'm not sure where I look if it's a complete manual thing.

Should do it automatically but if you want to check yourself go to "menu>settings>about phone>system software updates>check now.

What is the latest Update avaliable at the moment? Im on 1.19.161.5
