Eventually, just not yet. Don't worry though, the folks at Unrevoked will most likely have a root method soon!

I know, I know, im sure they are hammering on it right now
I've recently come from the Hero CDMA side and LOVED having a rooted phone! It is a wonderful phone though, without root, I must admit!

Let this also be a lesson to anyone that accepts an OTA update. THIS is how long it takes for them to get things figured out. So do NOT accept an OTA update or you will be waiting and waiting just like these 3.30 folks.

Totally agree. I purchased mine with 3.30 already on it... lol, go figure!
