Help Software?

I turned on Bluetooth and WiFi connections on my HTC Desire and when I plug it into my computer it says I need a disc that was suppose to come with my phone I guess, but is there software I could install on my computer to make the connection work?

Install HTC Sync (and then uninstall it if you don't want it)
With this you will have the wanted USB driver for the PC
