Someone help me out and tell me how to change the permissions of a folder. Trying to copy a file into the system/apps folder always result in a operation denied but I cant figure out how to change the permissions to R/W.

Im having to use Root Explorer to do this but I would like to try and use Solid for everything.

Help me out

go to /system. touch and hold the folder app till the menu pops up.
touch properties. where it says "attributes" theres this button that says change, touch it. and make sure there all checked. than touch ok. it let me copy apks over, but it foreclosed soemtimes, which i think its due to it being a beta.

had the same issue, after playing around with it I figured it out . there should be an "Actions" tab at the bottom . select it then choose "Properties" after that a different window should show up, towards the bottom there will be an "Attributes" section that says "Read, Write, and Hidden" with boxes next to them . simply check the box next to "Write" and it should do the trick

beat me to it lol

its never force closed on me before

Ive done that numerous times and it still doesnt work. I check all the boxes even though write is already checked for "owner".
