[SOLUTION] Can you remove the sms previews from the lock screen?

If I let someone use my phone and there are messages on there I don't see why they should be able to read the message.

I hate that feeling too. The cell phone has quickly become one of man's most personal objects, our entire lives at the tips of anyone's fingers. I've often thought there should be an easy way to toggle the phone into a "share" mode that locks down your stuff when you share your phone with others. Added security and peace of mind that you won't get a personal SMS while someone else is holding your phone.

Anyways, try hitting Menu -> Settings -> Privacy -> Lock Screen 'Display message text' check box. Let us know if that works so we can update the thread as solved.
