I almost took over full round of A75 forum and reviewed the bricking cases
So after the elongated thinking I have finally investigated the culprit of bricking
So the actual bricker devil is UB-2 and Gionee ROMs(no criticism )
Many of the A75 users were using Ub-2 and some were on gionee ROM after which they attempted to flash recovery and they bricked the phone
Why they bricked and how it all happened?
Well, Gionee ROM's kernel is overclocked and it is different than that of Stock kernel by micromax
As I have used mmx kernel in the recovery and the kernel mismatch occured and BOOMzzz... they bricked it
What should we users having bricked A75s should do?
Now straight forward visit the service center and get it repaired/replaced
Is it like Gionee people have to move to MMX ROM to get recovery?
No it isn't. I am going to release a recovery with gionee kernel which Gionee people can use
Is it safe to flash Gionee ROM using the current recovery which is based on MMX kernel?
No it is not safe!!! never attempt this if you want your device alive
Now I think it is safe to reopen all my projects and continue the development
Guys please follow the instructions which I always give while releasing any stuff
I already mentioned to flash recovery with UB-1
In the above sentences I used Gionee ROM is unsafe with current recovery but I don't know how Gionee ROM came
Can anyone tell me whether it contained only system.img or system.img & boot.img
Surely this recovery is dangerous for UB-2 users but not sure about Gionee ROM
