I'm not sure what happened but my phone (HTC EVO 4G) will not show the connection for USB. I have connected my phone several times to the computer and never an issue now it wont give me any options I have Rebooted the phone I have powered down both the computer (Windows 7) and the phone. I have changed the default connection type to (Disk drive) and plugged the phone back to the USB and still nothing happens. The USB will charge the phone. I don't know what or how to get this resolved with out doing a reset (if that works) or calling sprint. I mean if I have to contact them I will but rather see if someone knows how to fix the issue.

Android Version 2.3.3
Baseband Version 2.15.00.05.02
Kernal Version 2.6.35.10-g4e39384
build number 4.22.651.2 CL60865 release-keys
software number 4.22.651.2

i guess thats all you need about the software on the phone. (Note I did try hooking the phone via USB to another computer but had no luck there either)

Yes the box is checked and I am wanting to update this thread actually.

I had rebooted the phone - Not Power off and It seemed to pick it up again. I guess there is a setting or a program running on the phone that doesn't allow it to show even though the computer knows its there. So now when I plug it in and it doesn't give me the menu to decide what to do I unplug reboot the phone and now it works. So this thread is solved just not in a friendly way (always need to reboot) However if someone seems to find out what is going on I would love to be filled in.
