Help [Solved]Annoying Ringtone Issue

mastermind1024

Android Expert
I am annoyed by my device's ringtone behavior.
it does rings but only once...means ringtone is not being repeated or not being played in loop.
I have this issue on hybrid 3 rom but not on stock rom.
Anyone have an idea?help will be appreciated.

EDIT:
I figured it out.Sorry for trouble.

-- as far as theory says ! i never used Hybrid v3 for long time ;) --
working solution
- Download and install Audacity (audacity.sourceforge.net)
- Open the ringtone file in Audacity, note you can use mp3/wav files as well, Audacity can convert them into OGG.
- Select Open Metadata Editor for the File Menu
- Add a new tag called ANDROID_LOOP and set the value to 'true'.
- Click OK
- Select Export from the File Menu and select the Save As Type format as Ogg Vorbis Files.
- Click OK through File Save and Metadata dialogue window.
- Copy the new ringtone file onto your phone, reboot and enjoy

how did u solve it????..

how did u solve it????..
edited build.prop...may be that was a bug but not all of us faced it so didn't report it as a bug in hybrid.

I removed a line from build.prop n my problem get solved.
it took 2 hrs to figure that out.i flashed stock, then modified stock n then again hybrid.used stock build.prop n hybrid's build.prop in all rom n found all then time, with hybrid's build.prop the ring problem recurred.so then figured out by removing following line from build.prop..

ro.telephony.call_ring.delay=0

how do u do dat?..
If u have the same problem n want to solve it then replace ur existing build.prop with attached one here.use root explorer to do that...extract the zip n use extracted build.prop to replace.
OR
u can use root explorer to edit that existing build.prop n remove that line.

EDIT:
I just noticed that ur profile shows u r on Hybrid 1.3.2...after u use this build.prop it will show Hybrid v3 instead.so don't worry.n if u want it to show 1.3.2 then edit the file urself or tell me to give u new one.
