I know it has to do with the public.xml and anims.xml and they both seem to be refering to "zzz_htc_ime_decelerate_interpolator"

How do i fix this?

These seem to be the errors:

Code:
error: Found tag anim where item is expected

and

Code:
error: Public symbol anim/htc_ime_decelerate_interpolator declared here is not defined.

What I've found is that apk manager sucks. I was never able to recompile anything. It was just bad. Then I got apktool, and I haven't gotten a single error compiling anything. Unless it was a stupid error by me.

On a side note, what is the 1% battery mod? I've seen it mentioned a lot but never actually figured out what it was.

The thread with the "fix" says apktool so I guess it'd be there too.......

The 1% battery mod just let's you add a PNG for every 1% of battery. Stock only shows you a PNG for every 10% if that

Managed to fix this error by going to res/values anims.xml and

changing this

Code:
<anim name="htc_ime_decelerate_interpolator">@anim/zzz_htc_ime_decelerate_interpolator</anim>

to this

Code:
<item type="anim" name="htc_ime_decelerate_interpolator">@anim/zzz_htc_ime_decelerate_interpolator</item>

:) Apk Manager built the framework-res.apk with no errors

It's funny. I had the same thought that you did and I was doing this same thing yesterday too and ran into the same issue. Damn htc and not decompiling normally. At first I was like "wtf!". But after reading the error messages more closely, it was "wtf HTC!". I ended up with the same fix that you did though. nice work.
