Help [SOLVED] Can't install paid apps

I recently restored my phone because it was having some problems. These were all solved by the reset, but now I can't install any paid apps all of a sudden. After the reset, I don't think I was able to reinstall any of the apps I had paid for prior to the reset. However, for a while I could install new paid apps. Now, I can't do either. I tried buying a new app yesterday, and it won't install. It says "Purchased", but when I try downloading it, I see the download bar come up, but it never starts filling, and then disappears. Once in a while, I get the error that says Could not install to internal memory or SD card. I have ample room on both internal and SD storage.
 
Odds are you have a corrupt file ion your sd card causing the issue.

Basically, delete all the files in the "android.secure" folder. Market will rebuild them the next time you start it up.

You can either plug your phone into your computer with the usb cable, put it into mass storage mode, and do it from windows on your computer, or use a file manager on your phone to delete the folder. (Since you are having app install issues, I'm guessing doing it on your pc will be easiest for you.)
 
yeah, I saw someone post something like that earlier today and they said to use certain root file explorers to delete the system files and then another file explorer to delete the hidden files, but I couldnt find them on my phone. Now that I'm home, I'll just plug it into my linux pc and try to delete those files. I'll report back. Thanks!
 
Ok, I hooked up the phone to my linux pc (didn't use my mac since I can't view hidden files with Finder), and deleted the contents of the android.secure folder. I was then able to re-install all of the 'paid' apps that I had bought prior to resetting my phone. However, the one app that I tried buying today still won't download. The download bar comes up, but then just disappears before any download progress is made.
 
I just tried buying a new app and it worked. I think I may just have a problem installing that other one app. It may be because I bought it yesterday, but had a problem with the credit card I was using. For some reason the charge never showed up on my credit card, but the marketplace thinks that I bought it, so it won't let me re-buy it. I guess this is a whole new problem, but thanks for all the help with getting the other apps installed!
 
My pleasure! I was plagued with that issue for about 4 months. Fortunately, my wife also has a Dx, so if I really needed something, I downloaded it on her phone, and then transferred it to my own.

BTW, the new amazon app is killer... they also track all your old downloads, and have an auto install as well.. PLUS a free app every day that is usually a paid app. And typically they are something really good, like sound hound, or angry birds rio.
