Root [solved CLOSE PLEASE] error compiling framework-res.apk with apkmult.

Im needing to edit some xml files in my framework for my ROM, but Im running into problems with the admires framework-res.apk file when I recompile.
By the looks of the log file, it _may_ have something to do with the decompile process in some .9 files I have edited? -- but they run perfect on the phone, so Im a little puzzled.

When its states "renaming to *.png" I notice that it actually creates a dup of the file but removes the .9 extension...
Im thinking this may be why?
So, is there any way to stop this from happening (without re-editing all the above mentioned png's which work fine in the ROM iteself)?

*edit:: I removed the mdpi folder in projects, and replaced it with an unaltered copy from the apk itself, and tried to recompile. Still ran into the same error on recompile.
Bahh... I may just end up re-editing all the suspect png files, just so its not sloppy..
