Help [Solved] Double GMail Notification

I am getting a double Gmail notification for a single email... I am not sure if it was the way I set it up or what. I can't find anything in the settings. Anyone know how to fix this?

while gmail is open go to menu>more>settings>click on account name>check make sure 'priority inbox' is checked as default>scroll down to notification settings and you should see 'inbox' AND 'priority inbox' listed...

if you checked 'priority inbox as default' earlier then turn off regular inbox notifications or vice versa
