Help [Solved] Droid X Connectify BSOD issue, can it be solved?

Thanks for taking the time to read this and hopefully helping me out

I use Connectify and for some reason the only device I have trouble with is my Droid X. When ever i connect to my Connectify wifi signal using my Droid X, it BSOD's my system. Is there a simple fix for this?

Connectify doesn't have a forum and I didn't know where else to go :o

yes, I am able to plug the phone into my PC with out issue. Thanks for getting involved :)

p.s. After the crash my PC recommended I download and install a hotfix that may solve the issue. I did this but it has not solved it.

Hmm...this is a difficult issue seeing as I have no experience with Connectify. I know it is supposed to turn Win7 into a wifi spot or something along those lines...

Plug your phone up and fine what driver you're using and post it here, if you don't mind.

Plug the device in, go to Start>Right click Computer>Manage>Click Device Manager and locate your Android device. Go the properties of that device and find the driver.

Thanks NightAngel, that might help.

garlic, go on google and search for the motorola usb device driver. Download that one and install it instead of the one you have. See if that helps.

Downgrading my Intel Wifi Link 5100 AGN's driver fixed the problem. Instead of using the most recent 13.5.0 driver I am using the older 13.0.0.107 driver.

The problem has been solved and was not the Droid X. Thank you for the help :)
