I'm running Velocity 1.1 and using MailDroid. I'm receiving email arrival notifications when the phone is awake, but not when it's asleep. Is there a setting on the phone I need to change? I have the same problem receiving weather alerts (Simple Weather Alerts).
Solution: Settings/Wireless & Networks/Wifi settings/press menu key/Advanced/Wifi sleep policy - set to never.
