A circular symbol appeared in my notification bar on the top of my screen. When i pull down to see what the notification is there is a bar in mumy notification which basically gives me links to google, youtube, amazon and internet, each icon shown in a individual circle, all in a row. i can't clear the notifocation with the clear or swiping it and the circle symbol remains in the notification bar. Can you tell me what this is and how to get rid? I have an S4.

Hmm it almost looks like the syncing icon but it's been a long time since I've ran Samsung firmware. I'll have a play with wifeys s5 in the morning but am I right in thinking icons at the left side caused by 3rd party (downloaded) apps? But it doesnt have anything in your notification shade?
It's nothing to do with you having WhatsApp msgs waiting is it?

Hi. Thanks. Its nothing to do with the WhatsApp msgs. One of the icons (the one of the right) is a screenshot notification. Its the other one that looks like the sync sign that's the problem. I sure that "sync like symbol" is linked to the "shortcuts bar" in the notifications shade. Both appeared at the same time and both can't be cleared.

Now and then. I just got rid of it and that got rid of the notifications. Thank you! I've spent ages trying to figure out what that was. It must have come as part of an update. Much appreciated!
