[Solved] Moto G4: Apps keep stopping in background, can't open them!

I've tried all the common fixes:

• Reboot
• Force stop apps
• Clear cache and data of apps
• Reinstall apps
• Clear phones cache
• Check for app & phone updates

Only option left is to factory reset but I don't want to do this. Just started today, no updates or anything seemed to cause the issue. Any help is appreciated!

Update: they pushed a patch overnight that solved the issues!

well looks like you did as much trouble shooting as you can. the only other option is to do a factory reset....sorry but i do not see any other steps you can take.
