Root SOLVED No Background Data?

Hi All,
For some reason the "Background Data" checkbox will not stay checked. This is something new. All along I kept it unchecked unless I wanted to Sync my calendar, contacts or twitter; and also when I went to "Google Play". When I was finished I would uncheck the "Background Data" box to extend battery life. I've been doing this for at least a year and could always enable and disable at will. Now I cannot enable it at all.

My Rom is BACKside CM7.2 (Thank you SammyZ) which I installed a long time ago and I'm sure not an issue.

Any Ideas??

I have no idea :/ mine is still checked. It might be some app you installed, have you installed any "battery saver" apps??

Thanks for the reply. I haven't made any changes lately except updating "Lookout". I've gone through all the phone settings as well as individual program settings and can't see anything that would cause this. I did notice in phone settings Location and Security the "Use wireless networks" will not stay checked as well. Don't know if that's related to Background Data issue.

Ahh, your settings don't want to stick,after reboot changes should work
