(Solved) Straight Talk Lg optimus 2x release date????

That didn't really phase me, but finding out straight talk just cancelled releasing the 2x just did. I'm done with this lazy,crappy,inefficient company. They really can't do anything right.
 
I hear ya, but like i said before the Iphone 4s looks better and better all the time now. Even the iphone 3gs looks good and the price is low since the new ones came out. I agree though this does suck since I really would have liked to play around with the Optimus.. oh well.:(
 
Well I'm tired of my prepaid so I'm going to switch to t mobile 4G prepaid, they have a much better selection of android phones for about the same price plan.
 
I just emailed Straight talk myself to see when the new Lg optimus 2x would be available for purchase, either at walmart or on the st website due to a previous post I recently read on here, saying that it was already available at some walmarts depending on where the phone would be used the most, it also said that st was working on updating there website so this phone could be purchased from there as well. I checked walmart.com and it was not yet available on there website. So I took it up on myself to email st today and the response that I got back was that the release of the Lg Optimus 2x has been canceled. As of the moment, we do not have an update to when this phone will be available in our website or in walmart stores. We are continually working on improving and expanding our products and services. Rest assured that we are doing our best to provide you the best service possible.
 
I am a Straight Talk customer and I just emailed them and they said they defintely have not cancelled the release of the LG Optimus 2X. They said it will run on the T-Mobile Network. It has been released to Wal-Mart as of Feb. 20, 2012. As of yet, I have not been able to find it in any Wal-Mart in Nashville, TN. I reserved it but that website is now featuring the Optimus Q. This is all so strange. I really want this phone. I just don't know what to believe. I was so excited because this is a major smartphone in the prepaid market and is not running on the Sprint Network which I do not get any service bars with. Still hoping it all works out.
 
I don't think that people are being impatient. There are so many rumors flying around and Straight Talk is not giving people any definitive answers. If they say that the phone was sent to Wal-Mart on Feb. 20, 2012 then they should have been in some Wal-Mart by now. When they have set up a website to reserve the LG Optimus 2X and now this website shows the Optimus Q which has been out for awhile, what are people supposed to think? There is news all over the internet that Straight Talk will not be releasing the Optimus 2X afterall. People who have been waiting anxiously for this phone just want a straight answer. If this phone has been cancelled we want to know so we can move on to something else.
 
Totally agree, Ive moved on to T mobile prepaid 4G and I now have a samsung exhibit II 4G, nicer phone all around and only costs a little more than the precedent. Plus I have a better and more solid reception with T mobile. Plus its actually fast speed 4G. Im not advertising, im just satisfied that for a little more a month, I have all this. Bye Bye straight talk :)

Newest ???? Is this in the US or something ? Its been out in England for a good long time. 6 months certainly, probably more - 12 months ? I have mine in my hand now.

It allows me to buy either the optimus black or the optimus q. I still don't want to spend that much for a phone.
 
so i went ahead and did a little research on the optimus 2x because i myself am so anxious to get that phone and found a website where Straight Talk might have cancelled the phone for some reason. if you guys find out anything please keep me updated :D i am ready to get rid of my galaxy precendent not that its a bad phone but would like the upgrade..
 
You all are lameos! i signed up for the email , i waited.I just called up straight talk ask them if I could buy my own phone lg optimus 2 x byop (bring your own phone).Then I purchased the lg optimist 2 x and I purchased the straight talk sim card for 20 bucks and now i am on straight talk on my lg optimus 2 x for 45 bucks a month unlimited.
