Root [Solved] Stuck in boot loop

I tried to install the ParanoidAndroid Rom, but after installing it it would get to the boot animation and play for a few seconds then would shut off and turn back on. I then realized I had the wrong HBoot installed so I downgraded that using the Evo V to 3D guide. That did nothing.

I also tried restoring from a NAND backup, but that too also failed. I then tried to install some diffrent ROMs including that JMZ Stock Odexed ROM.

Thanks in advanced for any help.

Are you S-Off? I assume you are, if you downgrade/upgrade HBoots.

What I would suggest is using your ADB tools, get to fastboot and flash the boot.img from a rom. Be it PA or stock.

Can you get into recovery and whatnot?

Yeah, I can get into that fastboot menu thing and into recovery. I'm going to try flashing that boot.img like you suggested. I'll get back with results soon.

Boot.img flashing did not work. Is there any way to completely restore the phone to factory settings and stuff?

What recovery are you using? 4EXT? What Hboot are you on?

You'd need to go S-On again, after flashing the stock HBoot. Then run the RUU.

If you did the newest OTA, I'm not sure if the RUU will work for that, to be honest.

I use the TWRP recovery, and I had the downgraded HBOOT. I ended up using the RUU as the .zip and installed it from the fastboot menu. That fixed it. Thanks for the help, guys.
