Root Some 2.2 roms for captivate

I'm using Cognition v2.3b8 right now. And it has a semi-Gingerbread theme. So far it's very stable, no force closings, and runs pretty fast and smooth.

Did you get your battery issue resolved?
 
Running Assonance 5.0 with no problems at the moment. Tried Cog but like the Assonance better.....mostly just visual. :confused:

yup! :D

edit. so i don't think the battery was actually draining quickly. i think i might have been umm "intoxicated" because it seems perfectly fine now on a monday morning. at 94% right now since i took it off the charger 3 hrs ago. and played music for a bit while driving to work. so i have no clue what i thinking.
 
where can you get assonance or cognition from? I been looking for hours and can not find it. I did find one I thought was right but when I rebooted my phone and chose to install the packages it said attempt faile and could not install them.
 
I'm using Cezar's GT-I9000 2.2.1 based ROM. Minimal bugs, good GPS, stable, quick (w/o a lagfix). The battery life is incredibly good (for a Captivate). :)
 
I'm also using Cognition v2.3b8 and it is perfect. Lock screen is what I wanted and all lame AT&T software gone.
