Root some apps2sd help please

hey guys

so i have installed the newest bugless beast and it has automatic apps2sd, do i still need to move all the apps i have already installed? if so how do i do this?

also, what are the advantages of apps2sd besides more space on the phone? when i install a new rom, will they just be installed for me already?

also does the market recognize that i have them installed? because usually when i restore my apps from "my backup pro" i have to re-download them anyways to get updates properly.

That pretty much covers it all.

As for market recognizing that it is installed - uh, perhaps not. I haven't actually checked, but I am almost 100% positive that it does get recognized.

Just confirmed - updated an app I know I have installed to the SDCard.

So, it *does* get recognized.

good deal! so if you do a clean rom install, are all the apps there for you automatically that are on your sd?

That I am not sure about. Yet.

I haven't been brave enough to try a clean install since I first ported over to the FroYo leak.

I suppose I should, for posterity's sake, but....

It's too damned hard to be without my beloved DROID for that long!

If you're not already using Pete's BB 0.2.1 FroYo edition, ....

you should. And if you like the Next Theme, then add Fab's NexTheme for BB 0.2.x
