Root Some basic problems experienced with Simply Stunning 5.01

I've been using custom roms for about 6 months now and I've really enjoyed both Simply Stunning by ChevyNo1 and Bugless Beast by Pete. I recently switched over to SS 5.01 and have been loving its features, but I've noticed that at random times, the home key will cease to function. I've googled it and the only advice I could find said to restart the phone which does work, but it happens continually for no apparant reason, it will just refresh whatever page I'm on, even if its a settings menu and make the same sound it makes when I lock/unlock the screen

Another problem, one that has not been exclusive to SS, is the camera, especially in video mode. With both ROMS, I've noticed that the camera will often freeze upon taking a picture, and when I stop shooting a video, will make me force-quit, and by extension, lose whatever video or picture I was taking. As I said, this isn't exclusive to SS, but I wanted to label it under this because it has happened more frequently since switching to SS 5.01. Even though resetting the phone I am almost never able to successfully save a video.

I've searched for information of both of these, but I haven't found any real, useful information on how to fix these.

Those are all well known issues with most if not all Ginger Bread ROMS...I would suggest sticking with a froyo rom...I have not been able to find a GB rom that agrees with my phone for more than 24 hours.

I honestly think the GB rom problems are on a phone-by-phone basis. I've had three or four different GB roms on my Droid1 and experienced no problems at all. The rom I finally settled on, Project Elite 5.0.2, I chose because it was the *fastest* and most responsive of all of them on my phone.

My point is that some people have problems and some don't. The acronym to explain it is Y.M.M.V. (Your Mileage May Vary).
