Some games require Tegra 2

I have seen quite a few games that require a Tegra chip.

Is the OMAP processor in the Bionic not as capable as the Tegra chips, or did the game developer just choose to develop specifically for the Tegra?

Despite the TI OMAP being just as capable (or more so in some instances) than the Tegra 2, Nvidia has used their clout to "influence" many developers into making Tegra2-exclusive versions of their games. This of course only leads to even more fragmentation within the Android world.

Now, you COULD try to root your device and use Chainfire 3D to emulate the Tegra2 system calls but I haven't tried this personally (I have a Honeycomb tablet w/ T2 and a Droid X2 with T2).

Bionic's processor is great from this article:

I am rooted, but do I care to try these workarounds for a game?

I really appreciate you feedback and I might try this avenue!
