so i'm new to the rooting scene. i've had my d3 since day one, and it's taken me a while to get up the courage to root it.
this weekend i got it rooted and installed the Monster ROM, but i have some questions about customizing it.
before rooting i've been using GO Launcher EX and have been pretty happy with it. i love the ease of use and all the customization options.
is it dumb to run monster rom w/ go launcher on top of it? i like the go launcher because it's easy to change icons, dock, app drawer, etc. - is there a better way to do customizing now that i'm rooted? i've downloaded the metamorph app but haven't had a lot of time to dig into it yet. is there a way to tweak the look of installed rom?
the big reasons i rooted was to get rid of the bloatware, speed it up/increase battery life, and for customizing options. so i just want to make sure to be doing things the right way.
