hello all just joined and wanted to ask what function does the metro off app for cm7 perform do i actually need it or the gapp file or will everthing work as normal without them

You need the gapps to have the Market and Google talk which you need to have to use the market. You really dont need any more then that.

MetrOff fixes the "Roaming indicator" bug, and fixes the mms issue for MetroPcs.

Technically you dont HAVE to have either.
