the only email account that seems to have an email directory is gmail. I use aol almost exclusively and have no contacts in my aol mail on the Evo. Does anyone know how to get it?

Help some problems with evo - I need explicit directions

Moved to the Evo 4G support board. 
Go to aim.com and sign in to Mail, link in upper right. Go to contacts, then Tools above the list of names, then Export to csv.
Go to Gmail.com and then Contacts, then Import as csv file.
At one point, this wasn't well-supported and people were paying money for xfer programs.
Transferring contacts using csv files has ALWAYS been a pain in the butt. It's likely that you'll have to monkey around with the csv file (you can edit it in Excel) in response to any error or warning messages that are new to this go around.

Also google for "transfer aol contacts to gmail contacts" - hope this helps.
