Help Some questions. Please read!

Hey, guys. New to the Charge. Not new to Android.

I have some questions:

• Is this phone easy to/worth rooting?
• Will the Gingerbread update/future updates bring significant features to TouchWiz besides the normal changes that all phones get? I know Motorola phones get a lot of cool enhancements when they get updated.
• When exactly is the Gingerbread ETA, and the phone will be getting ICS, correct?
• I got the anti-glare protector at Verizon because I hated the feel of Best Buy's Zagg brand. However, the screen now has a grainy rainbow effect and I need something that won't ruin the screen's appearance at all. Where can I get one like that for $15-$20, and what store can install it for me?
