Help Some questions. Read please :)

I'm very happy right now. I currently have a Charge, but I'm getting sent an Incredible 2 right now for free. I had this phone a few weeks ago but returned it 3 days later. But I wanted it again lol.

• I get to keep both my Incredible 2 AND my Charge. So when I get the Inc., can I just put my current SIM card into the phone? And say I want to use the Charge again for a day, can I do it again?
• Is rooting this phone easy? About how long does it take? I bookmarked a tutorial on how to do it, and it seems a little lengthy.
• How is CM7 on this phone? It's still in nightlies, correct? How stable is it?

The only thing I can answer is the first part since I have never rooted a device.

First the SIM card from the Charge and the Inc2 are different. The Charge's is a 4G LTE SIM, the Inc2's is a global roaming SIM.

As far as going back and forth between the two, it's not as easy as usual. First if all, you cannot use the *228 to switch from 3G to 4G like you can going from a 3G to another 3G phone. There is a 1-800 number to call if you wanna switch to a 4G phone from a 3G phone. But you can use *228 to activate the Inc2 (or any 3G phone) from a 4G phone. The only thing is, when you switch from a 4G to a 3G phone, the LTE SIM becomes useless and you'd have to get another from Verizon the next time you wanna activate the Charge.

In the simplest terms, going from a 3G to another 3G phone works as usual with the *228 call. Going from a 4G to another 4G phone only requires you to move your 4G LTE SIM from the old phone to the new one. But switching back and forth from 3G to 4G and vice versa is where the headaches are.
