Root Something big on the way!! update: R2D2 available via TBH

I just reread through the thread and I do not believe there was alot of knocking of P3. Most people are disappointed, but it has nothing to do with his work. It has everything to do with the content. I think most people here are VERY thankful for P3. Many of us have purchased his app as a way of showing appreciation. Many other have gevin donations. That is the best way to support these guys.

good point. most people were respectful. and there is nothing wrong with hoping it was going to be something else. i just thought the couple people saying that it "wasnt a big deal" or that it was a "waste" of two bucks were kinda disrespectful. i dont find every release from every dev useful, but i certainly appreciate every bit of work that goes into everything they do. i dont even plan on keeping the R2D2 port, but i was more than happy to donate $2 to TBH, and i appreciate all the work that went into this port.

It is big news. Have any of you tried to actually theme something? It takes HOURS of hard work, dealing with little minutia, etc. I tried my hand at it and I just don't have the free time. If you don't like it, don't bash P3. To him, it's a big release, whether it is to you or not.

OMJ puts it best -if it's not for you, reflash to something else and move on. Don't publicly castigate P3. He's a member here. He'll see what you say, and worst case, he could just stop releasing leaks, or anything for the Droid X. I know that's not a big deal to some of you, but symbolically, we need every dev we can get for this device.
