Apparently there is something out there that replaces Dalvik enabling apps to run faster and scrolling to be smoother (Like it already isn't) however it is only available in Android 4.4.

I've read up on this and it looks very interesting. I'm not sure what the progress is on cyanogenmod for this phone. I think cyanogenmod 10-10.1 is being built first before kit kat.
