Root Something odd?

So I was checking my available storage and noticed something odd. My system partition only has 2GB, and the internal and SD is still only 4GB. Am I just nuts, or didn't the system used to be 4GB too, and if so, where did the other 2GB go?

How are you checking that? Also my system file is around 1.75GB.
According to my crappy math there's about 665MB missing.

Mines showing as a bit over 2gb, which should be the correct size

If you all want to avoid power of two arithmetic confusion by using the same thing, either with Terminal Emulator or an adb shell, say -

df

Probably no need, just tossing it out there.
