I'll try to make this brief. My alarm failed to go off this morning, so I thought great, the broken clock bug is back. Turns out, not so much.
I unplugged the phone and tried to turn it on. No luck, but the green led indicator stayed lit.
Time for a battery pull. Phone still wouldn't turn on, but I was able to get to the h-boot menu.
Tried the restore option, but got stuck on the triangle with red exclamation point. Phone wouldn't turn off, so pulled the battery again.
Went back into h-boot and factory reset. This worked, and I wad able to get the phone up and running.
Now for the weird part. While the reset worked, it didn't completely wipe the phone. All my apps were gone, but my wallpaper and WiFi settings were there. I didn't have to enter the password for my home network to get it to work, and all my saved networks are there. Also, all my alarms for the clock are intact.
Any ideas on why this would be? For the record, I'm not rooted, and running the latest version of g.b.
Thanks in advance,
Cmybliss
