Something that just happened (Eris related)

No not the OTA. My Helix Launcher decided to force close ALOT. Back to back. I rebooted my phone to no avail. I pulled the battery and nothing was fixed. I tried to pull the app drawer and select the Uninstaller app, but it would force closed before I could open it.
Then I had a revelation: I have the Market as one of my shortcut apps on my Helix dock. I opened it up and went to my downloads, and opened the Uninstaller app. Uninstalled Helix, and now I am good to go.

I tried to switch from 5 screens down to 3 and it all started.

Helix on an Eris?
anyways, i think with Helix there's a known issue that you can't cut down on screens when you have icons on the screens you are cutting out.

Yeah you can't adjust the screen size while you anything on your screens, Can't remember how I fixed it when it happened to me.

That's because you have to delete all widgets, shortcuts, programs, folders, etc. before you change the screen size. It says it all on the fine print when you want to change the screen size.

Read before you do something, always!

haha ya, ive crashed my bootloader. i think that was the biggest fail. my NAND backups wouldnt even load. spent a few hours running chown and chmod commands on about 250 files....that i can tell you was NOT all that and a bag o' chips.
