Help Songs deleting?

I got me a rooted Nextbook 7, a low profile quadcore 16gb tablet purchased for $60. I've been having troubles with music. I have hella music on my library, I use JetAudio Plus as my preferred music player, but every now and then I notice a random song will no longer be on my device, I even try to find it through ES File Explorer. Its hella obnoxious. This is happening on the internal storage, not on an external SD card, this usually only happens to me on IOS devices, please respond asap.:)

Can a different music player see the songs? If so the problem sounds like that app, which I've never used.

If it's all tracks in a particular folder then check there isn't a ".nomedia" file in the folder (you'll need to tell ES to show hidden files to see it). If there is, remove it.

No, I've used Neutron music player, my default music player and a few others, but certain songs will not show up. And I keep all my music in my download folder.

Ah, I think I misread your first post. So ES can't see them either?

Why do you keep things in the Download folder? Just wondering whether there's any significance to that for this problem.

I've read that Google Play Music cached tracks are disappearing for some people, and that this has been identified as a Google bug. But I'm guessing that this isn't what you are talking about (I don't use Play Music, and indeed uninstall it, so don't know where it stores stuff).

No ES can't see them. :( That's a good question, that's just always where I have kept my music, in the downloads folder and I don't use Google Play Music.... I appreciate the reply though.(:

Do you think Clean Master being on my built-in SD card could affect this? If so I should probably move it back....

I've no idea what permissions CM has to alter /downloads but as EarlyMon says, get rid of it NOW. it's snake poison.
Have you tried using ES to move your music to another folder, say /music

EDIT just read that you can't find your music in /downloads. If that's the case then change the Settings in whatever app you're using to download music (i wont ask what you're using) to download them to /music instead.
Don't know if it will help, just a hunch :thumbsupdroid:
